Nothing's perfect

A good comment left by my pal, Miranti. Look at the comment left for my post below. For the sake of others, i'll put Miranti's comment here:

--------------------
"So who's perfect? Washington had false teeth. Franklin was nearsighted. Mussolini had syphilis. Unpleasant things have been said about Walt Whitman and Oscar Wilde. Tchaikovsky had his problems, too. And Lincoln was constipated." ~ John O'Hara

and better still:

"The world was my oyster but I used the wrong fork" ~ Oscar Wilde

Cheers,

The Admiral :D

PS: You rock, girl. Anyways, what're you doing while waiting for the commencement of your new job?

Comments:
Dear Mr. Made,

I am immensely glad that you enjoyed the quotes I stole from somewhere! :P I am not familiar with Mr. O'Hara but Mr. Wilde is certainly the person you can count on in the states of mental anguish for he pokes charming fun at almost every delicate subject. I am currently in the state of perfect idleness and equanimity though struggling to practice economy as one needs to amuse oneself while having zero earnings till early next year. :D
The only suspense in my present life comes from the extensive reading of vast volumes of the adventures of an agile Mr. Sherlock Holmes and the fact that I currently am not covered by any insurance (medical or otherwise) whatsoever. With this much said, please allow my humble self to return to the much envied state of midday solemn reverie.

Sincerely yours,

The Admiral
